Crossroads Residency is an international artistic exchange program that connects different places, cities, and ways of working. Each iteration begins with walking as a method of deep listening—engaging with a place and its stories through people, art, design, architecture, and nature.
Embracing both situatedness and curiosity, each Crossroads Residency invites artists to explore walking in relation to their own practice—while also considering the reverse: how the environment itself shapes the act of walking, pausing, observing, and interacting.
Every project is guided by its location and participants, with engagement unfolding through artistic and curatorial inquiries—whether in the form of exhibitions, publications, talks, shared meals, or collaborative making.
